Its amazing the difference paint can make. Using mainly the same pieces from our old bedroom, (featured on little green notebook here) I painted our bedroom in the new house a steel gray and LOVE the contrast. Such a different feel.
Natalie blogged about this light fixture forever ago and I replaced our fan with it. Way more fun and such a great steal for $30. This is also the last room in the house with popcorn ceilings, and I can't wait to tackle that and beef up the molding. Coming soon.
I love the gray! I'll be honestly, I used to hate homes with gray walls, but that was before I realize how versatile and chic it could be. Now I want to paint practically every room in the shade!
