I really wanted a monogrammed shower curtain but that would have cost me around $80 for the monogram so I decided to DIY one for $2. Better right?
I used Kristen's from kfd designs genius tutorial, but I didn't print off the monogram font and trace I just eyeballed. Even faster.
Super easy and took all of 10 minutes.
Christmas gift alert! Monogrammed throw pillow. I'm picking up some simple white pillow covers at Ikea and some fun felt and getting on it.
. I'm telling everyone in my family that they can pick a DIY scarf or a monogrammed pillow for their gift. My brother told me he didn't want either so I think I'm making him both.

So cute! I love the pillow idea too.

I used felt to monogram Avery's bedroom pillow when I made his first nursery... so easy and fools everyone that it's a pricier sewn monogram!
ReplyDeletethis looks incredible! And I love your bathroom. It reminds me of our 1920's original bathroom only newer and cleaner. Love the pops of orange!
ReplyDeleteOMG I am so doing this immediately! Gorgeous! I love visiting your blog on my morning rotation each day. You always have the very best content.

So cute!! I've been wanting to get a monogram applique on my shower curtain but good god it's expensive. I think I'll have to give your way a whirl for good measure. Thanks for sharing! Our bathrooms could be twinsies.
ReplyDeleteSuch a creative spot for a monogram, too cute! XO
ReplyDeleteAmazing! You're so lucky your bathroom already has personality! My rental bathroom is so bleh. And brothers are such brats! Sounds just like both of mine!
ReplyDeleteHa! You lucked out with the black and white tile. The bathroom in our "art deco" SF apartment has a god awful color combo - pepto bismol pink and maroon. Someone actually picked those colors together at one point! Woof!
ReplyDeleteLove it, and the bathroom is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what an awesome idea! I'll have my own bathroom next year at my college apartment, and I've been dying for a monogrammed shower curtain! This would be a perfect, cost-friendly alternative! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteOMGeee that shower curtain is perfect!

This is adorable! I want one, but my shower in my current rental has a glass door, no curtain! A pillow might be in my future though. Orange was the perfect choice!
ReplyDeleteI love reading and following your blog! You're such an inspiration! The curtain looks amazingg :):)
ReplyDeleteCool Idea!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Pinterest, looks great! Love the pop of color with the orange!
ReplyDeleteI have an embroidered one from Potterybarn and I love it!
